India has made an impressive leap in its logistics performance in the last two years. The latest Logistics Performance Index (LPI) report released by the World Bank is a testament to that.
India improved its ranking from 54 in 2014 to 35 this year (2016). The LPI report is published every two years. This time, it compared 160 countries. LPI is an interactive benchmarking tool created to help countries identify the challenges and opportunities they face in their performance on trade logistics and what they can do to improve their performance.
