(a) whether the Government proposesto give rating to States on the basis of easeof doing
business in the country;
(b) if so, the details thereof indicatingthe parameters fixed/adopted in this regard;
(c) whether the Government has alsocirculated action points to States on ‘creating an enabling framework for stimulatinginvestments in manufacturing’ with specifictimelines for each action;
(d) if so, the details thereof along withthe response of the States thereto; and
(e) the progress made in regard to givingratings to States along with the extent towhich the proposed rating is likely toimprove the country’s ranking in ease ofdoing business in the world?
